Brier’s Rich History and Why We’re Proud to Serve Brier Residents
Brier, Washington, isn’t just another nondescript place. It’s a city with a rich history and distinctive character. Initially settled in 1883 by pioneers like the Salty family from Finland, Brier evolved from its early days of logging and mink farms into a vibrant, suburban-rural community in the 1950s and 1960s.
The city, known for its vast, open space, and wooded landscape, was officially incorporated on February 11, 1965. The incorporation happened after Brier residents voted to approve incorporation to prevent Thomas McGrath, a prominent developer, from annexing the area into neighboring Mountlake Terrace. Residents feared he would zone the annexed area into smaller lots, increasing the area’s population significantly.
Yet, while Brier still retains its small-town charm, the city’s population has grown steadily over the years from about 2,100 people just before incorporation to roughly 6,000 people in 2010. Just as Brier has evolved from a small settlement to a vibrant suburban community, so have plumbing systems.

What’s more, just as Brier has grown while striving to retain its small-town charm, we are also dedicated to providing residential plumbing services that respect the integrity of your home.
