Everett’s Storied History and Why We’re Proud to Serve Everett Residents
Everett isn’t just another dot on the map. It’s the county seat of Snohomish County and the seventh-most populous city in Washington. Initially inhabited by Native American tribes, European explorers arrived in the area in 1792.
However, the first permanent settler in the area, Dennis Brigham, arrived about seven decades later in 1861. Over the next several years, more people migrated to the area, attracted by its abundant natural resources — particularly timber.
Eventually, Everett was incorporated in 1893, shortly after the arrival of the Great Northern Railway. In its early days, Everett’s lumber sector flourished with several large sawmills. However, as the timber industry waned post World War II resulting in the closure of many sawmills, Everett transitioned to the aerospace sector with the arrival of Boeing in the 1960s.
Boeing’s arrival triggered a commercial and residential property boom in the area as the aircraft manufacturer grew to become the largest employer in the city.
Just as Everett has evolved over the years from a mill town to a major center for aircraft assembly, so have its plumbing systems. From the quaint older homes of Lowell to the newer properties in Pinehurst, Everett has diverse plumbing systems.
At Fast Plumbing and Drain, our deep understanding of Everett’s history helps us provide tailored plumbing solutions that preserve the integrity of our client’s homes. That’s why you can trust us to provide reliable plumbing services, regardless of when your home was built.
