Instant Hot Water, No Stress. The result is a clean, professional install that delivers near-boiling water on demand, without risking leaks, damage, or electrical hazards.

Here’s a step-by-step breakdown:

inspect under sink

Assess the Setup

Our plumber begins by evaluating the space under the sink to ensure there’s room for the hot water tank and the necessary plumbing connections. The plumber also confirms the electrical outlet under the sink is properly grounded and rated for the dispenser.

cold water valve

Shut Off the Water Supply

The cold water supply valve under the sink is shut off to prevent leaks or spills during the installation process.

prepping the space for dishwasher

Tap Into the Cold Water Line

The plumber installs a T-valve or angle stop adapter on the cold water line to provide a dedicated feed for the hot water tank. A shut-off valve is often added for easy maintenance and emergency control.

hot water dispenser

Installs the Dispenser Faucet

If there’s no existing hole in the sink or countertop, the plumber drills a new hole (usually 1–1.5 inches) in a safe, accessible location.  The faucet for the hot water dispenser is mounted securely and sealed with plumber’s putty or gasket to prevent moisture damage.

hot water dispenser tank install

Mount the Hot Water Tank

The plumber installs the tank on the cabinet wall or floor, following manufacturer clearance guidelines. The plumber then connects the cold water inlet, hot water outlet, and vent line (if applicable) to the tank and the dispenser faucet.

Connect and Test the Electrical

The tank is plugged into a GFCI outlet. Some models require specific amperage or dedicated circuits, which the plumber checks before powering on.

Test the System

The plumber turns the water back on, checks for leaks at every connection, and fills the tank. Once filled, the tank is powered on and the heating cycle begins. The plumber tests the faucet for proper flow, pressure, and temperature.
