We can quickly put an end to your dripping faucet.
We employ a systematic and thorough approach using specialized tools to correct a leaking faucet.
Here’s how we typically go about it:

Shut Off the Water Supply
The plumber first shuts off the water supply to the faucet, usually using the shutoff valves under the sink. If those are stuck or unavailable, the main water supply is turned off. The faucet is then opened to drain any remaining water from the lines.

Remove the Faucet Handle
The plumber removes any decorative caps to access the handle screws, then unscrews and lifts off the handle. This exposes the internal components of the faucet.

Disassemble and Inspect Internal Parts
Depending on the faucet type (compression, cartridge, ball, or disk), the plumber removes the relevant parts—such as the packing nut, stem, cartridge, or ball assembly. Each component is inspected for wear or damage, focusing on common culprits like washers, O-rings, and valve seats.

Replace Faulty Components
Worn or damaged washers, O-rings, cartridges, or other seals are replaced with exact matches. The plumber may also clean or replace the aerator if mineral buildup is present. All new parts are typically coated with plumber’s grease for better sealing and longevity.

Reassemble the Faucet
All components are carefully reinstalled in the correct order. The handle is reattached, and decorative caps are put back in place.

Restore Water Supply and Test
The plumber turns the water supply back on and tests the faucet for leaks, ensuring the repair is successful and the faucet operates smoothly.
